On the role of clean up is Bill Leon. Bill has a wide range of tools in his toolbox. He is a multi-talented musician who can play bass, guitar, keyboards and provide backing vocals.
It is rumored he bangs a pretty mean drum as well. Bill started playing the drums at an early age. Unfortunately, his family wasn't rolling in dough, he used view master barrels, one Pringles jar, bag of pennies and a Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket as his floor tom.
"Mookie" (as he is known to his friends) got bored once he got the knack of the drums when his Dad bought him a Polaris drum set.
Soon after the drums, he learned to play guitar, keyboards and finally bass. Some of his earlier bands were Black Pearl, Revelation, Prophesy, Mcspix, Phenux, Tribute, Buster Hawkins, Rampage, and TLP.
He will do whatever it takes to make a song sound good. He is not known to stand still and bore an audience. He loves to take his wireless gear to the audience and jam.
His influences are Rush, Deep Purple, Dream Theater, Saga, Yes, ELP, Led Zeppelin, and many other bands too lengthy to mention.
While he has a wild side to music, Oldskool gives him the release to explore the other side of classic rock and blues...just plain kick ass bluesy-rock n roll!!
