Terrie learned to sing and harmonize from her father starting from a very young age. "Everywhere we went in the car, we would sing," she says. "We had Family Songs that we all learned and still sing when the families get together for holidays”. “ It has always brought me great joy to sing!"
Later in life she met a guy (who she ended up marrying) with similar interests in music, plus he had a very large...music collection.
One of the first dates they went on, was a concert, and they still enjoy seeing shows many times a year. When one of her son’s became interested in playing guitar and singing, everything began to fall into place.
Terrie had known Steve and his wife Luan for awhile, and when Steve heard that Terrie was a singer, he contacted her and asked her to come try out with the band.
Terrie said,"Steve had me try out for the band and I found a strong belty voice inside me! I have fulfilled a dream at this late stage in life and I am loving every minute of it!!"
Terrie has stated that she likes all kinds of music, from Clapton to the Stones, bluegrass to blues.
